Background checks are required for all Coaches (both football and cheer), Team Dads and Team Moms. The organization that we use to complete the league background checks is National Center for Saftey Initiatives. They are a great company dedicated to helping leagues keep kids safe. Background Checks are paid for Bi-Annually but are checked each year. If you paid for and completed a background check for the 2011 season before July 1 2011 then you do not have to pay for a new background check for the 2012 season it will automatically be researched and completed again for the 2012 season. If you did NOT pay for a background check in 2011 before July 1 2011 and wish to either be a Coach, Team Dad or Team Mom for 2012 then you must complete and pay for a new background check.
